A dahlia from the wild unlike your other dahlias! We're not entirely sure which species dahlia this is--we grew it out as part of the ADS Dahlia Genome Project. It might be Dahlia hintonii. It has very uniquely hairy stems and leaves, called "pubescent" in the plant world. Small, light pink single blooms appear later in the season. A must have for the dahlia collector and appreciator of unique dahlia foliage!
